Dubbed the greatest anime of all time Cowboy Bebop has something for everyone. The story mostly takes place on the “bebop”, a run down space ship and revolves around a ramshackle crew of bounty hunters, “cowboys”. Spike Speigel, the protagonist, has left “the Syndicate” an organized crime outfit and linked up with Jet Black, the owner/captain of the Bebop. The two of them are wandering through the solar system picking up bounty heads when they start to pick up other crew members: Radical Edward, a androgynous child hacker, Faye Valentine, a mysterious hard luck woman, and Ein, a data dog/Welsh Corgi.
The anime’s charm lies in the “cool” motif that runs through the show from the jazzy funk opening to the beautifully choreographed battle scenes. Every character, minor and Major, has quirks that beg to be explored and Watanabe does a splendid job fleshing them out. Spaghetti western, space opera, epic, sci-fi, thriller, horror, romance, and adventure are the different story genres that mesh together to make Bebop one of the most memorable Anime ever. Told in 26 episodes the action explodes from the first scene and hardly lets up through out. If you missed this one go and get it, immediately!
Cowboy Bebop has to be up there in the list of the best animes ever made. The characters are so memorable, like Spike, he was apart of the Red Dragon Syndicate, they are deadly, then becomes a bounty hunter. He is amazing with guns and a good pilot. A sad story too *coughs* Julia *coughs*. Faye the “revealing” outfit wherein, egotistic, and lazy bounty hunting we all know and love. She just sits there and eats all the food XD. Jet another awesome character, muscular, once a cop, he also works really hard, a good gunslinger, a great polite and funny. Funny brings me to the next character, Edward, a dam good hacker, the best hacker, very energetic, happy, and very carefree. Edward adds a little light to the dark past of the other characters. I can’t forget Ein, he is so intelligent, sometimes more intelligent then the human characters. He is a lot smarter then the average dog. The series has everything, and if you haven’t seen it yet, HURRY UP AND WATCH! You will love it.
By the way am I the only one who is going to anime central this year? Is anyone else going?
Also what about the live action movie? I’m not down for it! If they think I’m going to watch Cowboy Bebop, English live action movie with Keanu Reeves as Spike, they are sadly mistaken! There is no way in hell anyone is going to making me see the live action movie…unless I can find it on the internet for free, I’m not pay to see a English live action Cowboy Bebop movie! I think its a really bad idea. They are just going to make the fans of the series really mad. Like they did with the new Dragon Ball Z movie. That movie was the worst movie ever!
Live action movies ruin most great things. ummmm… Battle Royale, don’t even get me started. And if you can’t stick the already successful plot of the book or manga don’t make the dang movie! arggg. Can I get an amen?

mami, we don’t know for sure. Good reason to believe he’s alive (and I’m convinced of that). Others thnk he’s dead. Watanabe-san isn’t saying, so we can think what we want.
